M\u00e8ne actuellement des recherches sur le r\u00e9gime de chevauchement des feux dans la ta\u00efga, sur la dynamique mill\u00e9naire des for\u00eats riveraines, sur le transfert de d\u00e9bris ligneux \u00e0 travers les interfaces riveraines et sur la dynamique du r\u00e9servoir de d\u00e9bris ligneux aquatiques. Il d\u00e9veloppe des s\u00e9ries dendrochronologiques mill\u00e9naires dans la zone bor\u00e9ale.
