In the heart of the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, Trois-Pistoles captivates with its warm welcome, vibrant community life, and beautiful coastline. In this entirely French-speaking city, you’ll take two university credit courses: a French writing course and a French speaking course, designed to strengthen your language skills and lay a solid foundation for the rest of your studies. These courses may be recognized by your home institution, thus enabling you to advance in your studies while enjoying a rewarding experience.

Immersion also continues well beyond the classroom. Staying with a host family, you’ll experience the French language on a day-to-day basis, sharing meals, activities, and everyday life with your enthusiastic hosts. Excursions on the St. Lawrence River, hikes in Bic National Park, and local cultural evenings complete this unique social and linguistic experience.
